Trash the Dress

I had the opportunity to go to Puerto Vallarta to shoot a wedding.  The wedding was beautiful, but the bride wanted to do more pictures than we had time on her wedding day.  So we did a "Trash the Dress" session on the Beachs of Puerto Vallarta.  Below are the fruits of our labor.  The weather was perfect and the shots speak for themselves.  If you have a wedding dress you are not likely to wear again, this might be a session to consider!

Mothers Day is right around the corner.  What do you have planned?  This Mothers Day is a great opportunity to plan a sibling session.  Studio or on location?  Do what fits your family's personality best!  Time is fleeting, and kids grow quickly.  Book your session today!  If you need gift ideas; consider at makeup case with your kids' picture.  Or an Iphone 4 cover for her phone?  How about some jewelry, or even a simple keychain?  I have plenty of gift ideas if you need suggestions!

Busy weekend

Well, it was most certainly a busy weekend.  I started out by photographing a young musical prodigy.  He was a 10 year old very talented piano player.  He was also polite and perfectly adorable.  We got the opportunity to shoot at Keyboard Concepts in Tustin.  John gave us carte blanche to shoot what we needed.  Their piano's are beautiful and their showroom is top notch.
We were there for a couple of hours getting some creative shots.  I posted just a few of my favorites.  Farid is making a CD and these images are to be chosen for that reason.  I can't wait to see which ones make the cut!

Next I had a session at the MV DANCE studio in Mission Viejo.  The ballet teacher needed to get some shots for the upcoming production of Paquita.  It was an early morning call - 8:00am.   I was very impressed with Allegra's ability to wake up so early and further impressed with her skills in dance.  She is quite the professional at such a young age.  Her poses were effortless and her demeanor, poised.  It was a true pleasure to photograph Allegra.
And finally, I ended my weekend with Alissa!  I have known Alissa from birth.  She is a beautiful and budding actress.  She needed some shots for her portfolio, so we went to a local university and set up shop.  It was so much fun playing with makeup and sifting through her wardrobe to create an array of shots to fill her portfolio.  I can't wait to see where she goes from here!
